Description
Two beautiful bright golden sunflowers delight the gardener in a fresh green summer garden in this abstracted watercolor painting in vibrant shades of yellow, orange, green and teal.
Last summer I was so fascinated and inspired of the beautiful bright yellow sunflowers blooming in the summer gardens and in sunflower fields around me. I realized, that I haven`t painted sunflowers before, so I decided to challenge myself and do a series of sunflower paintings in many different techniques, experimenting with various media like watercolor, soft pastels, acrylic, oil pastels, pencil, ink, charcoal..., trying different papers and styles. That was great fun. This painting is part of this flower series.
