Description
Sunflower stilllife with glass vase is a watercolor painting of a stilllife with three beautiful sunflowers in a glass vase in vibrant shades of yellow, orange, green and purple.
Last summer I was so fascinated of the beautiful bright yellow golden sunflowers blooming in the summer gardens and in sunflower fields around me. I realized, that I haven`t painted sunflowers before, so I decided to challenge myself and do a series of sunflower paintings in many different techniques, experimenting with various media like watercolor, soft pastels, acrylic, oil pastels, pencil, ink, charcoal..., trying different papers and styles. That was great fun. This painting is part of this flower series.
