Description
I painted this portrait of a redbreast European Robin - Erithacus rubecula - in acrylic on a loose abstract background in vibrant orange.
The last months I had great fun watching the birds in my garden and in the nature. I even spotted bird species I have never seen in nature before. In winter they came to the bird feeder and enjoyed sunflower seeds. Now in spring and early summer they visit the garden looking for insects. Meanwhile the first cute little birdies are fledged and the parents have a lot of work to do to feed the hungry babies. So much inspiration for an artist!
I decided to participate in Abbie Shores Fine Art America 30 Day challenge starting May 31, 2021. The aim is to create and upload one artwork each day for 30 days.
