Artist's Description
Portrait of a Blue-Eyed Cat is a cat portrait painted with soft pastels by artist Karen Kaspar. A beautiful Siamese cat with bright blue eyes has been painted against an abstract background whose tones of blue and purple reflect the color of the eyes. To add tension to the portrait, I only painted half of the head and upper body in an exceptional vertical panorama format.

About Karen Kaspar
Visual artist. For me inspiration is everywhere. When I go for a walk in the beautiful nature, I see landscape paintings with green meadows under a blue sky, golden fields under a dramatic sky with stormclouds and blue mountains in the sunshine. Old gnarled trees and young shrubs inspire me with fresh green leaves and delicate blossoms in spring and summer, colorful fall foliage in autumn and with abstract bare branches in winter. Summer times at the beach are an endless source of inspiration for seascape paintings - ocean, waves, sand, beach, seagulls, boats sailing. In the flower garden and parks all the beautiful flowers delight my heart and inspire me to paint flower paintings in bright vibrant colors. The spring garden is...
