Artist's Description
Golden October is an acrylic painting in portrait format painted by the artist Karen Kaspar. The autumn sun shines through the foliage of a maple tree and bathes the colourful autumn leaves in a warm golden light. The focus of this painting is on a maple leaf in bright orange, framed by darker leaves.
There are several different variations of this autumn foliage painting in warm autumn colours in landscape, portrait and square format (see my Collection Trees and leaves paintings).

About Karen Kaspar
Visual artist. For me inspiration is everywhere. When I go for a walk in the beautiful nature, I see landscape paintings with green meadows under a blue sky, golden fields under a dramatic sky with stormclouds and blue mountains in the sunshine. Old gnarled trees and young shrubs inspire me with fresh green leaves and delicate blossoms in spring and summer, colorful fall foliage in autumn and with abstract bare branches in winter. Summer times at the beach are an endless source of inspiration for seascape paintings - ocean, waves, sand, beach, seagulls, boats sailing.
