Description
Do you sometimes wish to be free like a bird and spread your wings and fly, leaving all your worries behind? Like this seagull flying under a blue sky above the deep ocean and the sandy beach, enjoying the sun.
This painting is part of a small series of acrylic paintings in square format with the theme of sea and beach, which I painted in the summer of 2021. I was inspired to do this by my visits to the beautiful Baltic coast in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. When I look at them, I immediately feel transported back to the sandy beach, feel the summer wind and hear the sound of the waves and the call of the seagulls. Bring a piece of beach holiday into your home.
The series of four square acrylic paintings consists of the pictures "Enjoy the silence", "Seagull on the beach", "Calm sea" and "Spread your wings and fly". The paintings fit together perfectly as a set and can be hung as a group.
Spread your wings and fly acrylic painting is my entry for day 6 of the FAA / Pixels 7 Day Challenge with the theme liquids.
I decided to print out some of my photos from a vacation at the Baltic sea in Germany some years ago as inspiration and do some little beach and ocean themed paintings for this challenge.
