Description
Pink Peony still life is a hand-painted acrylic painting by artist Karen Kaspar. A single flower of a beautiful bright pink peony with lush fresh green leaves is arranged in a blue vase against a dark blue background. The strong contrast between the bright petals and the shadowy background emphasises the motif.
The beautiful peonies that bloom in my neighbour's garden inspired me to create this painting.
I have also painted a similar still life with a white peony. The two paintings fit together perfectly and can also be hung next to each other on a wall.
I am participating in Abbie Shores Fine Art America 30 Day challenge starting May 31, 2021. The aim is to create and upload one artwork each day for 30 days.
