Description
Perfume of a Rose is a watercolour painting in landscape format painted by artist Karen Kaspar. A beautiful rose blossom in bright orange, peach and yellow tones with green leaves is painted on an abstract background in shades of blue.
Who can resist a beautiful rose? I can't. In a summer garden, the beautiful rose blossoms in bright colours attract my attention. My eyes enjoy the bright colours and the different shapes of the petals. Then my nose wants to smell the sweet fragrance of the roses. A treat for all the senses. And then I want to paint the flowers. In this watercolour painting "Perfume of a Rose" I wanted to capture the beauty of a warm peach-orange rose blossom and the scent of flowers, fresh fruit and summer feelings. Enjoy!
